This Louisiana Concealed Carry Handgun Permit course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a pistol and revolver in target shooting.

When checking out, in the special instructions box, please rate your previous firearms experience as either BEGINNER, NOVICE, INTERMEDIATE or EXPERT.
Details: This course is nine hours long as required by the Louisiana State Police. It includes classroom and range time learning to shoot pistols or revolvers. Students learn rules for safe gun handling; pistol and revolver parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the standing position; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development.
Students will complete Live Fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while in our State-of-Art Indoor Air Conditioned Range adjacent to our classroom with NRA & Louisiana State Certified Instructors.
Students will receive a course completion certificate.
Course completion is required to obtain a Louisiana Concealed Carry Permit.
*Class is very informal. We take a 10-minute break every hour & a lunch break.

* Your firearm (pistol, revolver or both) or you can rent one at class.
*50 rounds of target ammunition and can be purchased at our location.
$125.00 per person * NOTE: Payment is required to hold a seat in the class. If you can’t make your class, call us to reschedule your class and we will be happy to move you to another one. You will have one scheduled move.
Please fill out our Online Range Waiver and Save Time. Please arrive approximately 30 minutes early for check-in. All Firearms need to be unloaded and clear (magazine clear of firearm and action open) and empty magazines. NO personal reloads will be permitted in the range.
